Seasonal Baby Print Specialist

We are looking for very special person to become a part time Baby Print Specialist, joining the Dixie Dot Team in the lead up to Christmas.

This really is a specialised job – not many people will have expertise in printing baby hands, toes and bottoms (!) onto pottery so full training will be given.

Your role will be to represent Dixie Dot and take our range of baby keepsakes out to venues across Gloucestershire, take print orders during baby and toddler groups, then return the pottery to the studio so that it can be designed, personalised, glazed and fired.

There will also be some hours involved in redelivering the pottery when it’s complete.

• Are adept at using technology (ipad/tablet/mobile phone)

• Have a full driving licence and a car

• Are professional, can work under pressure and have exceptional eye for detail

• Are good at spelling with a solid grasp of English Language

• Are a strong team player

• Are committed to delivering a high quality product

• Can be flexible with your hours and days of work

 

The hours are going to be varied and flexible, working around the times of the baby groups we are attending. Most are in the morning and for a couple of hours though some events do run back to back sessions so you may be there for 4 hours instead. The anticipated hours of work will be somewhere between 8.30am and 3pm.

As the Christmas season gets closer more bookings will come in.

We guarantee a MINIMUM of 8 hours a week but some weeks you might be working nearer 20.

On the weeks where there are fewer mobile bookings you will be loading and unloading the pottery, preparing for forthcoming mobile jobs and helping the team with basic tasks around the studio.

Currently this role is required to start early September and will finish on the 19th December 2023.

Pay: £10.75 per hour plus £10 per mobile visit for fuel and insurance expenses (to be arranged by the successful candidate).
