Crochet for Beginners

Come to the Dixie Dot Craft Studio and Join Lisa for a very beginner friendly and relaxed crochet workshop. 

This session is for you if you're curious about crochet but have never touched a hook and is also for those that have dabbled but have got stuck along the way. We will start from scratch, learning all of the basics from how to hold the hook and yarn comfortably in a way that works for YOU (we can accommodate you too lefties!) and learning some basic stitches and techniques. We will work at your speed, no matter what the person next to you is doing!

This is an introductory technique based session where you will learn the steps of how to crochet confidently rather than focusing on making a finished product. With lots of help on hand, you'll get all of Lisa's best beginners tips and tricks, leaving you with more confidence to practice at home. Everyone will leave with a few samples of different techniques you have tried, speedy crocheters may leave with a chain flower and/or made a start on a circular coaster.

 All materials are included and no previous experience is necessary.
