Or maybe you are already running your own business but would like to grow or add to your revenue stream. You can choose a pre-set training course or I can create something bespoke to your needs. You can come to the Dixie Dot studio in Gloucester, to my new studio in Scotland, or I am happy to come to you.
Start-ups
If you are thinking of opening a pottery painting or craft business but not sure if it's for you, how you will go about it, where you'll learn your skills why not come and spend a day or two in my studio and I'll go through everything step by step. We will look at your business ideas, run through finances and how to be profitable as soon as possible. You can see how we glaze and fire, ask questions about kilns, see how a pottery studio manages their customer processes.
Baby Print Training
Baby prints can be a core part of any pottery painting studio. Come and learn how to get the best possible prints; using real life babies, you will make some samples to take home (or we'll fire them for you). You'll also learn how to do clay imprints, going through the basics of working and firing clay, and we will look at how we design and personalise them. If you already have a studio and need to boost your baby print confidence this session will be for you too.
