Galentine's Day is a relatively new celebration that has gained popularity in recent years among women. 

It is a day for women to celebrate the friendships they have with one another, and to remind themselves of the importance of female relationships and is celebrated with activities that allow women to spend time together and strengthen their bonds. 

(It's important to mention that Galentine's Day is not meant to replace Valentine's Day or to exclude men, is an additional opportunity for people to celebrate the people who are important in their lives!)
