Glass Fusing: Christmas Workshop with Glasswitchery

Come along to the Dixie Dot Craft Studio and let Dale and Annie from Glasswitchery encourage you with the beautiful art of Glass Fusing. 

This year the workshop attendees will be producing these beautiful Winter/Christmas themed lanterns.  

Each lantern is 28cm (11”) tall, and you will decorate two glass panels (Bullseye, CoE 90) with glass powders, frit, stringers, vitrigraph, pebbles, dots, dichroic and pre-cut shapes. 

We’ll take the decorated panels back to the kiln for firing, and when fused these will replace the original back and front plain lantern glass.

The side panels of the lantern will be replaced with an iridescent ripple glass. 

We’ll also provide a coloured wire string of LED fairy wire lights, (including button batteries), that will add to the wonderful sparkle and shimmer of the completed lanterns. (You can choose to display your lantern outdoors or inside).

No glass cutting or any special skills are required, and full guidance plus everything you need for the evening will be provided.

Payment:

Cost per person: £50  (£25 deposit will be required to secure your place, once confirmed, with the full balance to be paid 28 days prior to the course).

Cancellation policy

We will refund any payments made if a cancellation is at least 21 days before a scheduled workshop. (We have limited spaces, and early cancellation enables us to offer the space to someone on the waiting list). If you need to cancel your attendance at our workshop with notice of less than 21 days we will refund monies only if we are able to rebook your space. (If we are unable to rebook your space then any refund/partial refund will be at the discretion of Glasswitchery).
