About the Event
Come along to the Dixie Dot Craft Studio and let Dale and Annie from Glasswitchery encourage you with the beautiful art of Glass Fusing.
Welcome the Spring season!
Come and join us for a fun workshop of fused glass creativity.
During the evening you will use the fresh and vibrant colours of Bullseye Glass to freestyle design and compose either two tealights, or a standing panel. (We’ll take these back to our kiln for firing and then return to you after about a week).
The panels can be made either portrait or landscape and measure 20 x 15cm. They will be mounted in clear stands, made from an opalescent ‘plastic’ derived from sweetcorn. The completed panel with stand is suitable for either indoor or outdoor display. (The panel can also be hung if preferred, and you can decide on the night).
The tealights measure 10x15cm each, and are mounted onto square, clear glass candle holders, and can be used indoors or outdoors.
No glass cutting or any special skills are required, and full guidance plus everything you need for the evening will be provided.
(If you have not previously attended either our Introduction to Fused Glass Workshop, or our Christmas Workshop, then we will ask you to arrive a few minutes early to ensure we can give you the ‘safety talk’!).
£39.00 per person
