Intro to Encaustic Painting (Painting with Wax)

Come to the  Dixie Dot Crafts studio for a brand new workshop and learn Encaustic Painting!

What is it? 

Encaustic art is a unique and ancient painting technique that involves using heated coloured beeswax to create stunning works of art. The process dates back to Ancient Green and Egypt where it was used to paint portraits and to decorate ships! 

We will guide you through this brand new workshop where you will get to try your hand at making your very own pieces of art.

There are a range of coloured waxes to choose from, so something to suit everyone! You can get as creative as you wish!
