About the Event

COME ALONG TO THE DIXIE DOT STUDIO FOR AN INTRODUCTION IN MAKING BEESWAX WRAPS!

WHAT ARE BEESWAX WRAPS? An eco friendly alternative to single use plastics like cling film and tin foil. Perfect for the planet conscious amongst us.

WHY USE BEESWAX WRAPS? They keep food super fresh! - The ingredients within the wrap makes it breathable, hence your food stays fresher for longer. Who wants sweaty sarnies for lunch? Not me..... and they won't be with these wraps!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! - Rather than using cling film or tin foil that is discarded after one use, wraps can be washed with water (and a little bit of soap!) and then they are ready to be used time after time.

You can refresh them as often as you need really easily when they start to become less sticky and when they are absolutely, positively worn out, they are biodegradable too!

Planet Earth is gonna LOVE you!

In this session you will be taken through a step by step guide on how to make your own beeswax wraps. You will be making between 3-8 wraps, depending on the size you choose, in this 2 hour session.

All materials and refreshments are provided.
