Introduction to Glass Fusing

Come along to the Dixie Dot Craft Studio and let Dale and Annie from Glasswitchery teach you the beautiful art of Glass Fusing. 

This is a two hour workshop to learn the basics of fused glass, and creating your very own glass masterpieces!

During the workshop you will make two items; a funky hanging bird (or fish) and a hanging seascape panel (10x14cm)

After the workshop the glass pieces will be kiln fused and ready for collection from the Dixie Dot Craft Studio within a week.

We’ll send you pictures via email of your glass creations’ journey from Dixie Dot studio to our kiln and back again!

Everything needed is provided, and you will use pre-cut glass shapes, frit, stringers, (glass) pebbles, dots and enamel paints to create your works of art.

No artistic skills are needed, just an enthusiasm for experimenting.  (Oh, and closed-toe shoes too!)

You will not need to cut glass, but we will demonstrate glass cutting during the workshop if you’re interested in advancing your skills at a future session.

Sessions are limited to 10 people
